Website Accessibility

This website was developed to be accessible to as many people as possible, by following the accessibility guidelines produced by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

We have ensured this website complies with the following checklist:

  • Images have alternative rollover text;
  • Strong colour contrast between foreground and background;
  • Option to re-size text according to user preference;
  • Headings are correctly used;
  • Links make sense by themselves;
  • Tables have proper headings and summaries and are only used for laying out tabular information;
  • Visual presentation is defined in 'stylesheets'.

To further enhance accessibility we have also included an option to change the colour contrast of the website to yellow text on black background, to assist users with low vision, and have included an option to have the page as a fixed width, or fluid.
